By happy coincidence, the German word for 'flowers' contains the Latin word for 'light'. In this series of paintings, flowers and light collide to celebrate humanity's physical and emotional connection with nature. These works also continue a preoccupation with migration, exploring ideas of flight, freedom, exile and transformation.
